Christmas Eve:
Young came to dance,
Old came to eat sausages.
They are rich Christmas:
Three dieniņas three naksniņas
Coming over the mountain kūpēdami.
Christmas waiting;
Well Christmas came,
Well the money and spend.
Christmas Eve:
Barn pūti rye, wheat,
Stable funeral kumeliņus!
and took delight in dreaming land cover,
to happiness shine in your sight
and forget all the sad heart!
Drifts to the dark we could izbrist,
In order to understand - as love knows how
With the sun\'s heart piestarot and seeding.
Blizzard wind rustles fir,
And siksika steps along a narrow path
You come to the festive joy.
Has come so soon,
Then everything will soon fall either
Naked earth to warm.
For the love burns
And how quiet blooms
Light in your heart to bear!
